Frequently Asked Questions

What is an anagram solver?

An anagram solver finds all valid words that can be formed from a given set of letters. Our solver searches across 32 dictionaries in 11 languages, returning every word from your tile rack sorted by length, alphabetically, or by Scrabble score depending on your preference.

How do blank tiles work?

Use # to represent a blank tile (or wild) in your input. The solver will find words that use a blank in any letter position. Blank tiles score 0 points in Scrabble, so they're shown in red so you can see exactly which letter the blank represents in each result.

Can I limit results to a specific length?

Yes — set a Min Letters filter (default 2). The solver returns words from the minimum length up to the maximum letters in your rack. Results are grouped by word length with each length section collapsible if results are large.

What's the difference between dictionaries?

Different word games accept different word lists. TWL (Tournament Word List) is North American Scrabble, SOWPODS is international Scrabble, WWF is the Words With Friends list, and Crossword (Huge) includes phrase compounds for crossword constructors. Pick the dictionary matching the game you're playing.

Why are some short words missing from results?

Some 2-letter combinations like AA, OE, or QI exist in Scrabble dictionaries but not in standard English word lists. If a 2-letter word is missing, you may have selected the standard American dictionary instead of the Scrabble TWL list. Use the dictionary picker to switch.

Your search: denostar in dictionary American. Results: 422.
